Learn The Art of Shameless Self Promotion from Jennifer Mason, an expert at making a vision into a reality.
Your passion, drive and vision is inspiring but sharing it can be tough. Friends and family that thought it was "a good idea" may not support a struggling business. Market conditions may change. Products go in and out of trends based on a multitude of factors, so what gives one business that "buzz" while other great concepts struggle to get seen?
With over 20 years of experience building organizations, Jennifer has worked with companies from startup to $38M in annual revenue and has found a few things in common with every business or non profit. The visionary, the individual that felt compelled to start a business - and their team - need to know how to promote - and not just the offering. Learn how to actualize your vision, find strategic partnerships and develop your pitch using total strangers. Find your confidence and get tools to help you to find and communicate with your audience.
$39 per person includes a catered lungh, courtesy of Good Day Catering.

Big thanks to UVU Digital Media dept for hosting this. The event will be held on the 5th floor (one level above ground floor) in room CS 518 of the Computer Science building on the UVU campus. You should be able to park anywhere on campus, but the closest parking is just to the West and Southeast of the Computer Science building.
Here's a map of the UVU campus
Also here's a map to the CS building. Again we'll be in room CS 518 (North West part of building).
The format will be the usual informal get together to chat, talk about the industry, see what others are doing, show off your current project and get feedback, etc.
We'll start the evening off with a formal presentation from Steven Lambert on accessibility in games, and then we'll break out into smaller groups for some game demos. I hope to see everyone there!

Product PowerUp 2017 was a tremendous success with over 400 tickets sold! This year, we promise it will be even bigger!
Utah is home to many incredible consumer product companies. We've seen our state represented over again on Shark Tank and Kickstarter. Until Product PowerUp, there wasn't a 'place' for the non-technical product community to gather and collaborate. Product Powerup is more than an annual event. It's a community of professionals and entrepreneurs offering expertise on everything from design and development to marketing and sales. Don't miss out on this year's 2-DAY event!
