Spy Hop announces the world premiere of ten new documentary films from Utah teens. For three weeks, these students are immersed in film, and each finish their own five minute documentary on subjects of their choice.
REEL Stories, Spy Hop Productions longest running film class, opens up the world of filmmaking to anyone who is interested and passionate about telling their story. For almost all of the students, this was their first experience making a film, and the final results are a tribute to their months of hard work.
Join us for a free screening of these films. After each film there will be a short Q&A with the filmmaker. A reception will follow with some light refreshments. This is a free event and open to the public, but space is limited. Come hear what the next generation of filmmakers have to say, we promise you won’t be disappointed.
Spy Hop’s Reel Stories Program is made possible with support from: Salt Lake Film Society, Salt Lake Community College, Zoo Arts and Parks of Salt Lake County, the National Endowment for the Arts, The George & Dolores Dore Eccles Foundation, Salt Lake City Arts Council, Salt Lake County, Adobe Project 1324 and the Utah Division of Arts and Museums.
