Director of Ad Monetization Role

As Director of Ad Monetization of Game Circus, you’ll be surrounded by some of the brightest and most passionate individuals in the industry. The Director of Ad Monetization is responsible for owning the implementation and optimization of advertising in our games. You should be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and an expert in mobile game ad monetization. Successful candidates will have extensive optimization, negotiation, and business development experience in the mobile advertising space.


  • Being fully responsible for several ad revenue streams for all Game Circus games
  • Management of our ad monetization team
  • Having expert level knowledge around our projects gameplay, monetization, features and events
  • Shared ownership for new game features and events that directly impact ad revenue
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to provide recommendations and optimizations on ad placement and new ad format adoptions
  • Responsibility for an A/B test roadmap to optimize ad monetization efforts
  • Own the relationship with our ad network partners - including negotiating deals to optimize revenue and resolving technical issues
  • Performance analysis and optimization of each ad revenue stream
  • Exploration and testing of market tools (price floors, AB testing tool, segments)
  •  Manage and optimize the advertising mediation layer including: ad network partner management, quality control, and yield optimization
  • Strike direct deals with other games and app publishers to increase monetization efficiency
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed ambitious revenue goals


  • 3+ years of experience as an Ad Monetization Manager, or similar role, in the mobile gaming space
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • Able to compile and analyze performance data and metrics
  • A passion for being in the trenches and driving day-to-day decisions while never losing sight of the high-level strategy
  • Passionate about building and playing video games
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher education degree preferred
  • Authorized to work in the US
