The Senior Project Manager is focused on clients and projects in the RED Games studio located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This team specializes in the design and development of mobile, AR/VR and digital-to-physical games. The Senior Project Manager is an expert at guiding multi-disciplinary teams, managing large budgets and planning and executing on complex projects.

 

Ideal candidates have a strong adherence to proper development methodologies (such as Agile) and the software and tools that support those processes. The Senior Project Manager will thrive if they are collaborative team players, self starters and great communicators. The Senior Project Manager is good natured, thrives under pressure, leads by example and is a motivating and positive presence on the team.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Project planning and scoping

• SOW and schedule creation

• Project budgeting and budget tracking

• Project resource planning

• Status reporting, both internal and external

• Team communication and organization

• Risk assessment and mitigation

• Guide teams through project kickoff, concepting, development and release efforts

• Escalate and collaborate to solve problems and find solutions

• Partner closely with game leadership, executive management and business development to deliver on short and long term objectives

• Create a positive and constructive team working relationship and atmosphere

Requirements:

• Experience working at a mobile gaming studio preferred

• Minimum of 5 years in a Project Manager or Producer capacity

• Strong knowledge of development processes and tools

• Working experience in an Agile environment is desirable

• Working knowledge of programming capabilities and standards

• Working knowledge of UX / creative industry standards and best practices

• Strong leadership skills are a basic requirement for this role

• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to self-start and work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
