Tumbleweed Film Festival Presents: Scoring For Film Workshop

Spy Hop: Scoring For Film

A movie's music, or score, delivers the lion's share of the film's emotional power. Learn the creative basics of how to make music for movies from Spy Hop's composer Jared Gilmore, from sampling music to recording or synthesizing your own.

Workshops are open to patrons up to 18 years old. There will be a lounge near the workshop venue for parents and chaperones to use while minors are taking the workshop. If you are a parent or chaperone that would like to accompany a minor that is participating, please email [email protected]

Presented as part of Utah Film Center’s 9th annual Tumbleweeds Film Festival for Kids featuring curated films from around the world, culturally-enriching media arts workshops, and free clubhouse activities for younger audiences. Learn more about the festival here: utahfilmcenter.org/twds2020
