The Insomnia Film Challenge encourages teams to create, film and edit a 4-7 minute film in 48 hours. Teams are given a prop, line of dialogue, genre, and a character that must be present in the final film on Friday evening. The final films are screened free to the public on Sunday night. Awards are given to teams following the final film. Judges (including Davey Davis from the Utah Film Center) will deliberate and select the winners of 5 categories. An audience favorite will be voted on while the judges deliberate.
Happening: May 31st to June 2nd, 2019. Plan to meet at the Davis Arts Council office (445 N Wasatch, Layton) on May 31 at 5:30pm for kickoff instructions. Final screening will be June 2 at 7:00pm at the Kaysville Theater.
You can have as many people as you want on a team. Each team should have one representative register on behalf of the whole group.
There is no fee to participate, but you must register before the deadline.
Registration Deadline: May 24th at 2 pm.
